Textbooks
Textbooks may be returned for full bank with the following stipulations:

• Fall, Winter or Spring term within the first twelve days of the quarter for which they were purchased.
• Summer term within the first four days of the term for which they were purchased.
• Textbooks purchased for short courses (part-of-term courses) during any term are nonreturnable.
• Books must be accompanied by their receipt.
• New books must be in new condition (OSU Bookstore retains the right to determine the condition).
• Books with opened software packages may not be returned.
• Shrink-wrapped packages must be complete (packages marked "nonreturnable if opened" may not be returned if opened).
• Class notes and texts marked "nonreturnable" may not be returned.
• The buyer is responsible for postage on mail ordered books.

General Books
General Book items may be returned for an exchange or refund provided they are in new condition, returned within 30 days of purchase, and the OSU Bookstore receipt is included. There is a $15 return fee on special orders.

Merchandise
Merchandise items may be returned with the following stipulations:

• May be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase.
• Items must be accompanied by their receipt.
• Apparel items must not be worn or soiled, and all the tags must be attached.
• Recorded Media (CDs & DVDs) must be unopened. Defective media may only be exchanged for the same title.

Computers, digital cameras and related merchandise:

• May be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase.
• Must be returned with the receipt, original box, packaging, all manuals and accessories.
• There is a 15% restocking fee for items returned that are opened or in non-factory-sealed box, unless the item is defective and exchanged for the exact same item.
• Software must be in the original sealed package. Defective software may only be exchanged for the same item.

Apple iPods:

• After 14 days, all iPods, even if defective and in need of service, must be processed through Apple Technical Support and cannot be returned to the OSU Bookstore.
• Opened iPods, returned to the OSU Bookstore within 14 days, are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

• No returns for course catalogs.
• Misprinted graduation announcements may be exchanged.

• No returns for gift certificates.

UPS Shipping Charges

Total Purchase

• Overseas shipping for textbooks only. Textbooks may be shipped overseas via UPS Worldwide Express (weight-based shipping charge).
• Weight-based shipping charges will be determined upon filling your order.
• Textbooks will not be shipped within Corvallis city limits except under extenuating circumstances.
• For OSU department charges, call extension 7-1505.
• To guarantee delivery by Christmas, place orders by the second week of December.
• Overnight delivery is only during business days (a Friday order will be shipped on Monday).
• Shipped same day, if order placed by noon Pacific.
• No weekend delivery.

USPS Shipping Charges

• Bookstore is not responsible for lost or damaged items shipped Priority.
• Weight-based shipping charges will be determined upon filling your order.
